Back to the LEGO

LEGOI'm a huge fan of LEGO. I'm probably not the only one with a big crate full of LEGO somewhere hidden on the attic. Especially in this time of year when all those leaflets from Intertoys, Bart Smit and alike drop in my (analog) mailbox, I can't resist myself to have a quick look of what they've come up with this year. Unfortunately the LEGO company isn't doing well, they aren't making any profit and sales are dropping. Maybe the tendency to go back to old-school LEGO, with which you could actually make different models and be creative, will help get their sales back up.

For instance like this guy (or girl?), probably the same age as me. Watched all episodes of Back to the Future as a kid, played with LEGO back then and combined the two a couple of years later. And it definitely worked out, it made me drewl. You can see all the photos of this model, actually two of them including the villa, on Brickshelf. Maybe it's time to start using the rest of my LEGO bookmarks and make a seperate category for it ;-)
